Yankho Langa Charity is a community-based organization that was founded under Explore Africa DMC.The charity pursues a passionate mission to improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable widows in Malawi. Rooted in compassion and guided by determination, it provides vital support through education, vocational training, and psychosocial care.
SAPOF (Save the poor foundation)
SAPOF is a women-led local organization founded in 2014 with the goal of improving the living standards of the community, particularly young people, women, and children, through education, health, awareness-raising, advocacy, and economic empowerment. Our current programs include the Health for Life program (which promotes awareness of sexual and reproductive health rights among young people and HIV/AIDS prevention), the Child Sponsorship program (providing school fees, materials, and skills for children and teen mothers), and economic empowerment through vocational training and entrepreneurship for women and young people. The organization also works to end child marriage and gender-based violence against women and girls by using education as a means of empowerment. Finally, the organization operates a safe haven for orphans and street children, providing them with access to education, food, healthcare, and parental guidance.
